Is this an RC car party or an RC truck party?
Both. We are Dusty’s RC Car Party, and the RC cars we bring are trucks: hobby-grade rock crawlers for ages 7 and up, and monster trucks for ages 3 to 7. If you are looking for an RC car birthday party in Los Angeles, you are in the right place.
What is an RC rock crawler?
It is a radio-controlled truck built to climb over rocks and obstacles slowly and carefully, more like a mini off-road jeep than a fast racing car. Our trucks are 1/24 scale, about the size of a shoe.
What ages do you work with?
Ages 7 and up for the rock crawlers, and 3 to 7 for the Monster Truck Bash. It works best when kids are grouped in similar age ranges, but anyone can drive the trucks at any time.
What is the difference between the packages?
Drop-off Crawl (starting at $500): the easy option. We set up the trucks and course, and come back after two hours. Additional trucks are $50 each. You can add a live competition for $150, run by our crew.
The Ultimate RC Experience ($800 for 2 hours, plus $200 per truck): our premium, fully staffed package. In hour 1 our staff help kids assemble their trucks and teach them how to upgrade them. Hour 2 is free crawl time. Every kid keeps the truck they build. Extra hours are $150 each, and a full competition is $150 and includes an extra half hour of crawl time.
Monster Truck Bash ($500 for 2 hours): for ages 3 to 7, with 5 monster trucks, 2 ramps, rocks to drive over and obstacles. Extra hours are $150 each and extra trucks are $25 each.

Who supervises the drop-off?
A parent or host adult stays on site for the whole two hours. We set up, show them how everything works, and leave a rules card. Ask us about a staffed party if you would rather not supervise.
Do kids keep the truck they build?
Yes in the Ultimate RC Experience. Kids build, customize and drive a rig during the party, and each child keeps the truck they build. The full upgrade package is $200 per child: the truck, upgraded wheels and tires, stickers and scale accessories, and their own set of tools to work on it at home. The Drop-off Crawl uses our trucks, which go back with us.
Is this only for boys?
All kids are welcome. Our parties are designed for kids who like to drive, climb and race.
How do you keep kids safe?
Adults supervise every party. Our crew keeps the batteries and does the charging, and we go over safety rules with the kids before the first drive. Small parts are handled with adult help.
What if a truck gets damaged?
Normal wear and tumbles are part of crawling and are covered. These trucks are pretty tough. Drop-off runners use a signed agreement and a card hold for lost or seriously damaged equipment. Trucks really only break when they are completely misused or intentionally messed with.
Will it damage my lawn or anything at my home?
No. The trucks are small and light, and the course is a rubber mat set up on top of the ground, so there is nothing to dig up or leave behind. Your grass and patio stay as they were.
What are the courses like?
Our courses are made from a proprietary, high-quality rubber material with a lifelike rock texture, so the trucks crawl and climb the way they would on real rock. They are built to be set up and packed away easily, and they are a big part of why it feels like real crawling.
What does it cost?
Drop-off Crawl starts at $500 for 2 hours with 4 trucks (additional trucks are $50 each), and a live competition adds $150. The Ultimate RC Experience is $800 for 2 hours (extra hours are $150 each) plus $200 per child for the full upgrade package they keep, and a full competition adds $150. The Monster Truck Bash is $500 for 2 hours with 5 trucks, plus $150 for each additional hour and $25 for each additional truck. Final pricing depends on your date, guest count and location, so send a request and we’ll confirm. Trucks, batteries, the course and setup are included.
Where do you host RC parties?
We come to you anywhere on the Westside and across Los Angeles, including Marina del Rey, Venice, Playa Vista, Mar Vista, Culver City, Santa Monica, West LA, Palms, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades, Westchester, Beverly Hills and the South Bay. Backyards, garages, covered patios, gyms and parks all work.
How much space do we need?
A flat spot about 12 by 10 feet is enough for the rock course. A driveway, garage, patio, yard or park all work, and we bring everything else. No power is needed.
What about photos?
We collect a signed waiver and photo consent from every family. If a family opts out of photos, we honor it.
